Brief: Film and edit a short piece to be used as part of a showreel.
Treatment
Charlote Hemming is a 3rd year Hair & Make Up student at The Manchester College. As part of her course, she requires a showreel to promote her work.
Charlote had already filmed a timelapse with a model so she required a separate film and photographs with two models. We would film as she did the models' make up in the studio and then film in a nearby location.
Charlote shared some images to show what kind of location she wanted, I suggested Marie Louise Gardens as it is local and fitted what she wanted. I also took some test photographs and footage there to be more prepared for the day of shooting.

On Wednesday 8 November 2017, assisted by Dave Speers, I filmed and photographed Charlote in the studio with models Teegan Taylor and Janet Tabaka. I wanted to capture each stage of the make up being applied as well as show the skills that Charlote has.
While in the studio I also captured some footage and photographed for make up artist Sarah Latchford with her model Sieglinde Herrmann.
We then had a photography session in Marie Louise Gardens. Dave Speers captured photographs of me taking photos, as requested by Charlote Hemming. We were also joined by Sarah Latchford, Sieglinde Herrmann and make up artist Hannah Dawson and her model Irma Sarah. All the models and make up artists required photographs from this session. I also captured some footage for Charlote Hemming's showreel.
I had a deadline of two weeks to submit the film to Charlote as this would need to be edited with her timelapse footage to create her finished showreel. This was delivered on time on Wednesday 22 November 2017 with Charlote being happy with the results.
